Rachel joined the FPA in 2020 with experience in the fire sector, having previously worked for the Institution of Fire Engineers in their membership department.
She initially worked within a specialist project team at the FPA to initiate procedures, management, and reporting for fire compartmentation and fire doors. Since then, Rachel has progressed to Head of Quality and Compliance and is responsible for upholding best practice approaches and high-quality standards to ISO 17025 and ISO 9001, ensuring compliance and maintaining the FPA’s approved external certifications.
Rachel holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Strategy and Management, and the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management. She is a ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (QMS), an associate member of the Chartered Management Institute (ACMI), and a practitioner member of the Chartered Quality Institute (PCQI).
