Dale Kinnersley

Principal Consultant

Dale joined the Fire Protection Association in October 2018 and is Principal Consultant responsible for suppression, technical issues, sprinkler inspections and sprinkler training.

He started his career in the fire industry in 1990 as a sprinkler engineer apprentice at Project Fire Engineers. Following seven years at the company, he moved to Wormald Fire Systems, where he undertook special risk projects in the form of inergen gaseous systems design, high and low pressure gaseous CO2 design, fire detection systems and foam systems in addition to sprinkler system design. After ten years, he moved to Argus Fire Protection as Design Manager, Senior Design Manager, and his final role as Technical Director, with responsibilities for training, ISO9001, LPS1048, consultancy, and overseeing the company sales, designs and projects.

Dale is a member of the Institute of Fire Engineers and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
