Our Fire Extinguisher Technician Refresher course offers an update on new products, legal disposal of extinguisher content, and interpretation of appropriate standards and regulations. Meet legal requirements under BS 5306 Part 3 to maintain best practice and continuous professional development for those who handle and manage fire extinguishers.

This course is aimed at technicians who are required under BS 5306 Part 3 (2017) to attend a refresher training course within a period of three years of passing either:

a) the initial training course examination; or

b) the last refresher training examination.

It might not be possible to adhere precisely to a 3-year period. This is acceptable provided that the refresher training has been officially booked before the 3-year anniversary and the course has been completed within 6 months of the anniversary. Failure to follow this procedure entails completing the initial training again.
