Learning Content Specialist

The FPA is looking for a full-time Learning Content Specialist to manage the development and output of training resources, digital publications, and online learning resources.  This new role will support a busy training and digital team at a time of growth and expansion into new ways of delivering learning for our customers and members.  The right candidate will ideally have training experience or be an experienced educator and familiar with tailoring content for the purposes of learning across a variety of audiences.

The role will:
•    ensure high quality training materials are delivered across public and in-house courses, seminars, and qualifications.  
•    monitor and manage updates of digital learning content and digital publications.
•    ensure the FPA training curriculum and course materials remain fit for purpose, current and appealing.
•    Support the training and administrative team in the production of high-quality materials, digital content and e-learning

Experience required:
•    An experienced trainer or educator with an eye for accuracy and quality
•    An understanding of the need to tailor content appropriately to make an impact and achieve an outcome
•    Experience of editing and/or writing content for educational purposes
•    Working within an educational framework
•    Excellent written presentation and good working knowledge of Powerpoint
•    Multi-media skills

Good to have:
•    Experience of working with a variety of customers to understand their needs and expected outcomes
•    Experience of fire safety (desirable, not essential)
