Large scale use of timber construction is a preferred method when it comes to environmental sustainability. However, this material presents challenges when it comes to risks posed by fire and water and therefore insurance. This questionnaire seeks information that could be useful in engageing with ensurers and focusses on the known sensitivities of using wood as a building material.
