  • Analyse a fictional fire risk assessment case study (provided) and respond to a series of questions relating to the strengths and weaknesses of the report, the impact of human behaviour on fire safety planning, communicating concerns, and the role of the Fire & Rescue Service.

Assessments are designed to evaluate both theoretical understanding and application of knowledge, ensuring a comprehensive measure of fire risk assessor competence. Learners will have four weeks from the course start date to complete the assessment.

This bridging course is designed for learners who have previously completed the ABBE Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment (through any training provider) to bridge the knowledge gap and provide the equivalent FireQual Level 3 Certificate in Foundation Fire Risk Assessment, aligned with the Foundation core competency level outlined in BS 8674.
