Fire Risk Assessment Trainer

The FPA is looking for a full-time trainer to join our busy team offering relevant and high-quality fire risk assessment training and supporting a range of courses within our portfolio. You will also be required to liaise with customers to understand the needs of the business and tailor course requirements appropriately. Training will be conducted at various venues and on client sites.

Vital to this role are:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ industry experience
  • Experience of carrying out fire risk assessments and report writing for clients
  • Knowledge of a range of workplace environments and their fire risk assessment duties
  • Application of fire safety standards and best practice
  • Commitment to successfully support learners through qualification pathways
  • Mark learners assessment activities
  • Identify and understand the bespoke needs of individual clients in relation to fulfilling fire safety duties
  • Prior experience of training
  • Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative with a pro-active attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

Desirable for this role:

  • Level 3 qualification in training (or willingness to work towards)
  • Third party accreditation (or willingness to work towards)
  • Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards)
  • Fire Risk assessment qualification

Salary: From £40,000 - £45,000
