The Fire Protection Association is seeking a part time (3 days per week) Executive PA to provide support and assistance to our Managing Director at out headquarters in Moreton-in-Marsh.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage diaries and provide gatekeeper support for Directors
- Schedule meetings/conference calls and provide briefing papers as required
- Plan, attend, and record minutes for Board, Remuneration Committee, Audit and Risk Committee, Executive Strategic Group, and monthly Operations meetings (some of which are in London)
- Extensive internal and external staff and client liaison
- Accurate and efficient travel itinerary provision for Directors
- Accurate expense reconciliation
- Provide PA office support for the Fire Sector Federation and the Fire Strategy Panel
Skills Required
- At least 5 years’ experience as an executive PA
- Strong communicator who can engage effectively with people internally and externally
- A team player who can demonstrate a collaborative style of working that enhances business/project performance
- Ability to lead by example and in a manner consistent with the organisation’s policies, goals and values
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a highly organised manner, largely unsupervised and on own initiative with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to use discretion, strong judgement and to take appropriate actions without supervision
- Effective planning skills with a proven ability to manage own workload
- Ability to work as part of a team to enable collaboration and cross departmental working

Educated to degree level (preferred but certainly not essential)
