Simon joined the FPA in 2019 having previously worked as an analyst and programmer for HyberObjects and as a data analyst and database specialist for the Royal Bank of Scotland. Simon is Systems Developer for RISCAuthority – an annually funded research scheme administered by the FPA and supported by a significant group of UK insurers.
He is responsible for developing toolkits and apps such as the Fire & Rescue Services Tool which collects and processes fire service capacity data, and the Geo-Mapping Project which models fire service capacity geographically. Simon has a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Systems.
