Guy joined the FPA in 2026 with over 30 years’ experience in enterprise risk management and governance across financial services from implementing Solvency II at insurers and syndicates, to the creation of a challenger bank. He also has experience in asset management and fund managing and was previously head of risk at a global automotive OEM.
Guy manages the RISCAuthority research scheme, overseeing the delivery of high-quality and topical programmes of research, standards and guidance. He holds a degree in Engineering, an ISEB Certificate in Data Protection, and an International Certificate in Financial Risk Management and AI Governance. He is a member of the Institute of Risk Management and the Association of Insurance and Risk Managers in Industry and Commerce (AIRMIC).
