David joined the FPA in 2021 having previously spent 5 years working in fire safety conducting fire risk assessments and passive surveys. His key responsibilities include managing the surveying team, delivering guidance and technical advice to surveyors, and conducting site visits to complete passive surveys. David holds a CFPA (Europe) Diploma in Fire Prevention – Technical Cycle, FDIS Diploma, FSRAC Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment, and NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. He is also a member of the Associate of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (AIFSM).
