Ben joined the FPA in 2021 after completing an undergraduate degree in Product Design. He began his career at the FPA as a Laboratory Technician in suppression and BS 8414 cladding testing. In 2022, Ben transitioned to the newly established Fire Resistance department where he progressed to Lead Fire Resistance Technician before stepping into his current role as Fire Resistance Manager.
Ben is responsible for overseeing the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, large-scale fire testing and comprehensive fire test reports. A key part of his role is maintaining UKAS accreditation across four testing standards, ensuring compliance and excellence in every aspect of the department's work.
