The long-awaited report is set to be released in September.
On 23 May, the Grenfell Tower Inquiry announced that core participants had been contacted to inform them that the Phase 2 report will be published on Wednesday 4 September.
Phase 2 of the Inquiry examined the causes of the fire, including how Grenfell Tower came to be in a condition which allowed the fire to spread.
The update also states that “In accordance with rule 17 of the Inquiry Rules 2006, core participants will be provided with copies of the report on Tuesday 3 September 2024 under embargo.”
The FPA welcomes the news that the Phase 2 report has a final publication date and will comment on the findings therein once it is fully released into the public domain.
