As an FPA member, you play an important role in shaping the future of fire safety. There are many ways to get involved in current and upcoming FPA guidance and research carried out for insurers, government, regulators, and the wider industry.
These include providing document feedback for consideration by the relevant Working Group at the next cyclical review; inputting in to FPA responses to government/industry consultations (see opposite); surveys and online focus groups on upcoming research projects; and providing topic suggestions for the FPA to research and produce guidance on for members. Keep an eye on FPA emails, our website, and social media for upcoming opportunities to share your expertise.
James joined the FPA in 2018. He began his marketing career in the sports industry and has since gained experience developing successful marketing campaigns and strategies, launching new websites, and implementing a CRM system.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, James is responsible for creating and delivering the FPA's marketing strategy and annual campaign plan to communicate our core messaging as the UK's national fire safety organisation. He is also responsible for creating the membership and subscriptions strategy to grow and engage FPA members through continuously improved subscription products. He has a BA (Hons) degree and holds the Certificate in Professional Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
