Event sessions:

Security of premises and loss prevention - Cyrille Rouzier, Property Account Engineer, AIG

The need to effective security to enable businesses to protect themselves from the consequences of crime has never been more apparent.  Crime-related risks are dominated by theft, malicious damage and arson, with the impact of these events ranging from minor disruption to total loss of your business.  Cyrille will consider how organisations should assess their assets as potential targets of crime, the hazards that ought to be considered, and the range of security strategies, tactics and measures available.

Making building regulations work for you - David Sammons, Independent Consultant

David will look at the specific risks to consider during the construction phase, the compliance and regulatory enforcement, the considerations for safety and security on a construction site, and the resources and guidance available

High integrity detection systems - Paul Pope, Head of system integration and technical support, Apollo Fire

Paul will talk about the latest updates and developments in the world of alarm and detection signalling.  With the number of false and unwanted alarms ever-increasing, and a number of fire and rescue services no longer turning out without other actions being taken, Paul will look at how high integrity systems can help solve the problem

Fire engineering and enforcement - Rob Cole, Station Manager, Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service

Following the tragic Grenfell Tower fire, Rob will look at the role of the fire authority and other enforcing bodies, and how expected changes in the building/construction landscape will need to be enforced.
