Updated Seminar Graphic

Overview

This upcoming seminar will feature leading experts who will clarify the Governments implementation plan to the Hackitt Review and how safety standards and regulations are changing in the wake of Grenfell. You will discover implications for industry, stakeholders, and residents of tall buildings, and how different agencies can work together to improve and promote fire safety.

The 2017 Grenfell Tower tragedy, which resulted in the largest loss of life in a fire in the UK since the Second World War, has prompted numerous Government inquiries, with the report concluding that the current system is not fit for purpose and that a radical systemic overhaul is required.

The government’s response on how it will implement the recommendations made by Dame Judith was released in December.  The report “Building a Safer Future” confirmed a ‘stronger and more effective regulatory framework’ is required which ‘commits the government to a programme of reform over the coming years’ it is paramount that businesses are prepared and equipped for the imminent forthcoming changes.
