A business continuity plan describes how a business will continue to operate during an unplanned process or service disruption. It should contain contingencies for every aspect of the business that might be affected, including manufacturing and business processes, assets, clients, business administration, business partners and other key stakeholders.
This supporting guide to the FPA’s Business Continuity Plan Template is intended to help businesses develop a framework to enable timely responses to disruptive incidents and the ability to continue maintaining services to customers despite the disruption. The main focus of this guidance is to help develop a response to enable the recovery of business after a disruptive incident.
