Practical Facilities

The Fire Protection Association (FPA) offers a range of highly practical, vocationally relevant courses at a variety of levels to suit all learners – whether new to industry or have a wealth of experience to draw on.

We have worked hard to develop practical facilities to give our delegates the opportunity to practice some of the theory on real equipment in addition to the classroom learning elements in the areas of:
  • fire detection and alarm systems
  • sprinkler training
  • passive fire protection
  • fire investigation
Collaboration with industry specific suppliers and manufacturers has permitted us to replicate much of the equipment likely to be encountered in the field and also demonstrate cutting edge items intended to broaden the knowledge sphere of the learner. We believe it is about designing training to produce more effective practitioners in whatever fire safety arena they work in.
