Loss Prevention Council training courses

The FPA are now re-establishing the insurer-backed LPC Training brand as a response to increasing numbers of enquiries for good quality security systems and management training.
The courses available are aimed at those who manage and/or have the legal responsibility to maintain alarm, security and CCTV systems, as well as individuals supplying and installing those products. Training days will be held in London and Manchester as well as at LPC Training’s headquarters in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.
LPC Training’s first courses are due to run in April, many of which will result in a qualification recognised by CFPA Europe. See below for further details.

Courses in 2017

Fire Detection and Alarm Systems

The practical route to understanding the installation and maintenance of detection and alarm systems and the relevant legislative requirements.

Fire Detection Systems Design

For designers of detection and alarm systems of simple and complex premises, including conventional and analogue addressable systems.

Sprinkler Systems Maintenance and Components

For comprehensive knowledge of sprinkler systems and hands-on maintenance experience.

“LPC Training was a hallmark of quality in the business and property protection sector. It was a brand held in particularly high esteem by insurers. Its return to the marketplace is welcome news for those in the facilities management and security sectors who are looking to ensure their competency is validated by a trusted name.”

FPA Managing Director Jonathan O’Neill

“The important things to note about LPC Training are its independence and the quality of the information it provides. Training is delivered by experts at the forefront of the property protection field, while the organisation isn’t connected to any particular products, meaning that delegates can expect an objective view and Best Practice advice.”

Director of LPC Training John Briggs
