This comprehensive suite of new, modular training courses in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems & Emergency Lighting has been developed through a partnership between the Fire Security Association (FSA), a division of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) and the Fire Protection Assocation.
Designed to meet the training requirements of those involved with design, installation, commissioning and servicing of fire systems, on successful completion you will be able to demonstrate competence:
- in different aspects of systems i.e. design, installation, commissioning and/or servicing
- for different types of premises i.e. simple or complex workplaces/dwellings
- for different job roles i.e. those who work under supervision or manage projects
New Qualification Routes
We are delighted to introduce brand new qualification routes for those working in the fire detection, alarms and emergency lighting sector.
Each of our courses have now been allocated a number of BTEC credits and depending on the number of credits you accumlate you can now achieve a BTEC Award, Certificate or Diploma.
Developed in partnership with Buckinghamshire New University, this work based Foundation Degree covers the theories, principles and practices of fire protection systems management and can be converted to a full Honours Degree.
