This updated checklist is designed to be used in conjunction with the Joint Code of Practice, Fire Prevention on Construction Sites, 7th Edition.
The checklist converts the Joint Code into a series of questions which should be asked to establish whether or not fire precautions on a site are comprehensive and adequate. The checklist works on a tick-box principle and contains space for notes and comments. In the course of time, the checklist can present a complete fire precautions history of a construction site or building under refurbishment.
